Our Story – Studio 27

Studio 27 is a brand built on passion, creativity, and self-expression. In 2024, at just 19 years old, I launched my first business, Mika Designs, a custom design and printing company in my hometown of Howick. What began as an interest in design quickly grew into a deep passion for graphic art and fashion. As Mika Designs expanded and built a loyal client base, my vision evolved — and Studio 27 was created.

Studio 27 blends bold streetwear with a platform for creative collaboration. We design statement pieces — from graphic tees to hoodies and custom apparel — that reflect individuality and modern street culture. At the same time, we are passionate about giving new and aspiring designers the opportunity to bring their ideas to life. By making custom apparel accessible nationwide, we create space for fresh talent to turn their designs into real, wearable art.

The name Studio 27 is inspired by my favorite verse from the Hindu scripture, Chapter 2, Verse 7 — a reminder that when everything feels uncertain, faith remains a guiding force. That meaning sits at the heart of our brand: resilience, creativity, and purpose.
